XAT – Xavier Aptitude Test 2019 will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2019 as online exam. XAT 2019 is the MBA entrance exam for admission to XLRI, SPJIMR, IMT, BIMTECH, TAPMI, XIMB among other 150 MBA colleges across the country for the MBA admission 2019. XAT 2019 will be conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur as an online computer based test. XLRI has been convening Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) for more than 60 years.
Xavier Aptitude Test – XAT is the second largest MBA entrance test to pursue MBA/PGDM in 11 member institutes and 140 Associate institutes accepting XAT exam scores. Till 2017 XAT remained a paper based test. With effect from 2018, XAT has become an online computer based test.
XLRI and other top rated MBA colleges in India will accept XAT 2019 exam scores. XAT exam 2019 will be conducted by XLRI for admission to MBA/PGDM 2019-21 batch in about 150 MBA colleges accepting XAT exam scores in the academic year 2019-21.
XAT 2019 will be a single session exam on January 6, 2019 from 10 AM to 1.30 PM. The exam will be held in 47 XAT test cities across the country and there will be 2 XAT exam cities abroad namely, Kathmandu and Dubai.
XAT exam information will be released on XAT 2019 official website in the 3rd week of August 2018. XAT 2019 Notification containing XAT exam details, XAT exam format, XAT exam centres, will be released in the leading news papers also. All the XAT 2019 exam details will be available on XAT 2019 official website. XAT 2019 registration and XAT exam 2019 application process is to begin in the last week of August 2018. XAT admit card for the XAT exam 2019 will be out in the 2nd week of December 2018.
It is expected that around 1 lakh candidates will appear in XAT 2019 exam since the number of candidates going for XAT 2019 registration are expected to increase again. In 2018 more than 92000 candidates had registered and applied for XAT exam. XAT 2019 exam is to have a time duration of 3 hours 30 minutes. Earlier XAT exam used to be of 3 hours. XLRI conducts XAT on behalf of XAMI. XAT 2019 will be divided in 5 sections namely Verbal and Logical Ability; Decision Making; Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation; General Knowledge+ Essay Writing. Out of the 5 sections in XAT exam, 4 XAT sections will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) while the Essay Writing section will be of descriptive type.
