CMAT 2018 Merit list with 64448 candidates who appeared in CMAT this year has been announced by AICTE on February 17. There are three candidates with 100 percentile in CMAT 2018 as against two in 2017 and one in 2016.
CMAT 2018 result declared on Feb 15
AICTE has released the CMAT 2018 Result on February 15, 2018 immediately after 7.30PM. Earlier AICTE had announced to declare CMAT result after 5PM then shifted it to 6.30PM and finally made it at 7.30PM. Immediately after declaration of CMAT 2018 result an All India Merit list of all the candidates who appeared in CMAT 2018 exam on January 20, 2018 is about to be declared by AICTE.
The CMAT result has been released along with CMAT score card, sectional score, overall score, sectional percentile, overall percentile. No candidate who appeared in CMAT 2018 has been disqualified in the CMAT 2018 merit list.
How to download your CMAT score card
The candidates can download the electronically generated score card from CMAT website with complete details using their login details from February 15 onwards. Separate Score Cards will not be sent by email or by post to the candidates.
AICTE has announced to release CMAT 2018 Result on February 15, 2018 after 5PM now. Confirming about the CMAT 2018 result declaration date Dr. N.H. Siddalinga Swamy, Director E-Governance, AICTE said ‘CMAT 2018 Result Publishing Date is February 15 as announced in CMAT Website.’ Earlier CMAT result declaration was deferred till Feb 14. With this continuing delay in CMAT result declaration, AICTE would declare the CMAT result on February 15 instead of earlier February 14, 10 or 4. The CMAT result will be out with CMAT score card, sectional score, overall score, sectional percentile, overall percentile and the place in CMAT merit list. No candidate will be disqualified in the CMAT 2018 merit list. During the past 3 years, AICTE declared CMAT exam result in a week’s time or in maximum 10 days from the CMAT exam date. However, for CMAT 2018, the result which was expected on January 29 is delayed by more than two weeks.
CMAT 2018 held on January 20, remained a moderate exam with less than 50% questions being termed as difficult. According to experts the CMAT cut offs may go up for admission to MBA 2018-20 batch in all the top B-schools like JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya, GIM Goa among others.
The cut offs are expected to increase as CMAT 2018 was found easier than last year. It is anticipated that an overall score of 228 will get 99 percentile while a score of 190 marks may get 95 percentile.

CMAT 2018 was on predictable lines but had tricky LR, Time taking DI and a bit of tough GK. However the overall exam was moderate. CMAT 2018 exam got over at 12.30PM today on January 20, 2018. The test remained on predictable lines with moderate difficulty level but slightly more difficult Data Interpretation, tricky Logical Reasoning (LR) and tough GK.
CMAT 2018 was reported a successful and glitch free exam today. The exam was conducted from 9.30AM to 12.30PM in a single session across the country. The test not only began on time but also did not face technical issues although few stray cases of technical glitch were reported.
Live coverage at one of the CMAT 2018 test centres revealed more students reporting Logical Reasoning and General Awareness sections as bit more difficult than Quant and Language Comprehension.
